There are 4 steps in the partnership process. Each step is required to have a completed application. You may submit the forms and information individually or all at the same time.
Step 2 IMHA Champion
An IMHA champion is someone who knows the partner and is either a member or someone approved by the IMHA board. The IMHA champion will have visited the community and seen the possible partner at work.
Step 3 Accountability
The IMHA partner is not only accountable to the IMHA network but also to their own local community. IMHA expects its partners to have the following accountable structures in place and functioning effectively.
1) Accountability to the local community through an internal board. This is a group of people that are committed to the ministry and have the power to make decisions on the ministries goals and leadership. 2) Accountability to an external group such as a local church or community organization. These people represent the community in which the partner serves. They are the ones that should be free to offer feedback on the partner's impact in the community.
